Clik here to view.No wonder Taylor Swift doesn't have time for boyfriends right now -- the girl is far too busy boosting her resume in a major way. The singer, whose hit Shake It Off debuted at number 1 on Hot 100, is set to join the upcoming seventh season of The Voice as an advisor. Following in Jennifer Lawrence's new man Chris Martin's footsteps, she'll mentor contestants and do what she does best: cheerlead her little heart out and make a gazillion more friends who can appear in future selfies.
Swift will be working alongside His Hotness Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, as well as newcomers Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. If you watched this year's VMA's and caught Gwen making a few weird faces during Taylor's performance before giving a super-weird finger clap at the end of it, you might also be wondering about the dynamic between these two. My guess is that Taylor respects the singing veteran and Gwen is like, oh God, I was once 24 too and wasn't nearly this bubbly. But it will be interesting to watch them together.
One source says Taylor was an "absolute pleasure to work with" and had great feedback for her contestants. That isn't difficult to picture because she just seems like a person with a great deal of positive energy. If she weren't a teacher I could easily see her as the most beloved Kindergarten teacher to ever walk the face of the earth.
Swift is the latest advisor to be announced to a lineup that already includes Stevie Wonder Alicia Keys, Little Big Town, and Gwen's husband Gavin Rossdale. The seventh season begins on Sept. 22.
