We don't always love the people our family members and friends hook up with. We may roll our eyes when they're out of our company and complain to our boyfriends or husbands and say things like, what is he/she thinking?! But at the end of the day, we just want our brother/sister/friend to be happy, and if that person makes him happy, that's good enough for us.
Well, it seems Mark Wahlberg would NOT agree. His older bro, Donnie, is set to marry girlfriend Jenny McCarthy TODAY, and rumor has it the actor will not be there. And another rumor has it that the reason he's decided to skip the nuptials has nothing to do with his 11-year-old's birthday this weekend, as his rep claimed. Multiple sources are saying Mark and his model wife Rhea Durham are not the biggest fans of Jennyand simply don't want to be in their company.
Sources say Rhea and Mark hated an interview Jenny gave on the Howard Stern show in which she was brutally honest about not having sex for a year before meeting Donnie and going through "400 vibrators." TMI, we agree, but that's just Jenny.
When Howard asked if Mark would be attending their wedding, Jenny told him she assumed he would be. Some are saying she let on that their relationship with Mark and his family was much closer than it actually is.
If that isn't bad enough, Donnie's brother Bobby has also reportedly decided to be a no-show at the ceremony.
I get that Jenny isn't everybody's cup of tea. She certainly annoys the heck out of me. But we're talking about a bond among brothers -- one that shouldn't be broken because you don't approve of his loudmouth fiance (let's face it, Jenny's outspoken nature is what often gets her into trouble). The important thing is that she treats him well and has the right intentions -- and this seems to be the case from the outside looking in.
I guess she didn't score brownie points with Donnie's siblings when she told Howard "I got the best Wahlberg." Just a hunch.
Are you surprised Mark is skipping out on Jenny and Donnie's wedding? Is it okay for him to do so if he doesn't like the bride?
