Taylor Swift has had every opportunity to get back at her ex-boyfriends, including John Mayer, through her many revenge songs. It isn't often that her ex men open up and take a shot at her—which is why everyone is going nuts after Mayer guest hosted The Late Late Show and launched a much-deserved, but funny, missile at the pop star.
You may recall: Mayer, 37, and Swift, 25, dated for a nanosecond in 2009. You would have thought they were engaged for ages because she acted like she took their breakup hard and even penned a not-so-nice song called Dear John about him.
During Mayer's dialogue, the songwriter quipped: "You can see me at the Grammy's doing what I do best, being avoided by Taylor Swift. That won't make the Internet at all."
The crowd appreciated his humor and the fact that he went there. But, what I found even more interesting is that, if you notice his body language during that line, he mimics the actions of a person who waves to someone and is then ignored—leaving me to wonder if that's what actually goes on when Mayer runs into Swift.
To be honest, I can picture her acting very young and burying her head into Lorde's shoulder to giggle and make a comment about Mayer. Just a hunch.

Assuming the rumor about Mayer reconnecting with his other ex, Katy Perry, in recent weeks is true, and if they, say, decide to be each other's dates to the Grammy's, things are going to be even more uncomfortable for Taylor, who is reportedly feuding big-time with Katy.
Should make for an interesting awards show.
