Bruce Jenner's involvement in Saturday's fatal car crash in California has yet to be determined. We've recently learned police are reportedly planning to get a search warrant so they can check his cell phone to determine whether he was texting at the time his car crashed into the back of a car on the Pacific Coast Highway, killing one woman.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department is reportedly planning to get warrants for both Bruce's cell and his phone records. If it is determined that he was texting while driving, which is against the law in California, he could be charged with vehicular manslaughter.
But police have reportedly admitted that, even if Bruce were texting, it would be virtually impossible to determine whether he was doing it at the exact moment his Cadillac SUV became the third vehicle involved in the accident. The first vehicle was reportedly a black Toyota Prius, which was hit by a white Lexus. Jenner, who was reportedly towing a trailer with an all-terrain vehicle on it, slammed into the Lexus, which then spun into oncoming traffic and was hit by a Hummer H2, killing the driver of the Lexus.
The driver of the Prius reportedly told police she stopped at a red light, which was when she says she was hit by the Lexus. Police are reportedly not sure her story is true and there's some talk that she may have been attempting to make an illegal U-turn at the time she was hit.
As for Jenner, police say he passed a sobriety test, but that they didn't think to check his cell at the scene. Police say the tire skid marks on his trailer show that he was desperately trying to stop the vehicle and that he veered to the right, causing the Lexus to veer left into traffic.

Jenner reportedly told authorities that he believed he was being chased by paparazzi, which police say could have happened, but they also made it clear that there is no indication of that at this time and that, even if he was being followed, that is a "very regular occurrence" and not one they're sure contributed to the deadly crash.
Jenner, who has been in the news daily for his reported decision to transition to a woman, was not injured in the crash.
