Kim Kardashian's New Photo Proves North West Is Her Twin (PHOTO)

At long last: a Kardashian story involving photoshop that actually makes us think, "Awww!" instead of "uhhhh..." Basically, any debate over whether North West looks like mom or dad can be put to bed because Kim got hold of a photo that features a side-by-side split view of her baby pic next to North's, and all we can say is: long-lost twins. Photoshop is working out for her today because she also posted a different photo -- of her current image beside one taken when she was a child -- that pretty much shows that, while you can still say what you will about her questionable derriere, her gorgeous face can be chalked up to good genes, and not plastic surgery.

Here's Kim/North -- a photo that Kim posted on Instagram with the caption, "I'm not sure who made this but I love these side by side pics. This is me on the right as a baby and North on the left:"

Absolutely adorable -- and so similar, right down to the shape of their lips and chin.

And then there is this one -- a photo of Kim at age 7next to one of her now. Unless she was wearing mascara at that age, hot damn, the eyelashes are naturally extraordinary. I don't know about you, but I'm not seeing any evidence of plastic surgery based on this photo:

Kim Kardashian Looks Unrecognizable On Cover of Love Magazine (PHOTO)

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

Kim Kardashian
isn't known as a celebrity chameleon. In fact, I would say Kim is exactly the opposite of someone like Rihanna, who is constantly changing up her look and keeping with trends. Kim has glorious hair and skin and a taste for sultry, va-va-va-voom designer clothing and if we suddenly spotted her sporting, let's say, skull earrings and a pixie cut, we'd all wonder why Kanye made her do it. And that's why it's SO refreshing and wonderful to see Kim Kardashian looking very little like Kim Kardashian on the cover of Love magazine. Seriously, you won't recognize her.

Kim recently shot the cover with Steven Klein, whom she has nothing but glowing things to say about on Twitter. She raved about getting all dolled up in vintage and custom Prada for the 30+ page spread -- which is mega impressive -- and spending three days straight shooting photos at a motel in Los Angeles.

But the real star of the show here is Kim's bleached eyebrows. They make her look like an otherworldly being:

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

I would have NEVER guessed this was Kim. Eyebrow shape and tint obviously has a drastic effect on one's overall appearance, and here's proof of that. I also love how dark and moody (and TALL) she looks -- her bright clothing and the heavy handed application of bronzer are the only reasons I'm not using the word "goth."

More from The Stir: Kendall Jenner's Topless Magazine Cover Is Pretty Shocking -- Even for Her (PHOTO)

Love magazine is having a love affair with the Kardashian/Jenner crew because Kim's appearance follows little sister Kendall Jenner's topless cover this past summer AND her debut as one of their advent calendar pin-up girls. But Kendall is a model by trade -- and Kim is, well, Kim, and yet she has snagged dozens of pages in this magazine that a gazillion working and struggling models would kill to get.

So does this mean we can officially call Kim Kardashian a supermodel?

What do you think of Kim's Love magazine?

Teresa Giudice's Daughter Posts Worrying Tweet As Mom Prepares for Jail

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

When we recently discovered Teresa Giudice told her daughters, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4, that she was "going away" to do research on a book she's writing about prison and not going to actual prison to serve time for a crime -- as she is set to do in just one day -- we thought: hmm, that's interesting. Wonder how long she'll get away with that one. The Real Housewives star DID break the news to her 13-year-old daughter Gia and 10-year-old Gabriella, and it should surprise no one that the fact that their lives are about to change in a major way is causing Gia a lot of stress -- and she took to Twitter to express herself.

Teresa will be serving a 15-month prison after she and her husband were convicted for fraud this past October. She has been trying to get in as much time with her family as possible before she goes away. She spent New Year's Eve with them, and popped up for a public appearance at Gia's 3KT holiday show the day after Christmas.

But as the date of her sentence looms ever closer, the whole thing is clearly taking a toll on her children. Gia recently tweeted the following message:

Tons of sweet followers showed their support for the teen by reminding her to stay strong, that time will pass before she knows it, and that she should trust that God has a plan.

More from The Stir: Teresa Giudice's Lies to Her Children Prove She Hasn't Changed

No doubt, this is going to be incredibly difficult on all of Teresa's children, but as the one who now probably feels an obligation to watch over her younger siblings, this will likely affect Gia most. We can say what we will about Teresa, but one thing that few people deny is that she is a good, loving mom.

Gia knows this and, in addition to considering her a role model, also thinks of her mom as a friend -- which is obvious looking at this photo the young woman posted on Twitter:

Image may be NSFW.

The silver lining here is that Gia and her sisters will be well taken care of in Teresa's absence. Their dad will be by their side throughout the ordeal and they also seem to have the love and support of a lot of relatives and friends. Lord knows it won't be easy.

Is there anything Teresa can do to help her teen daughter get through this?

Man Finds Two 5-Month-Old Fetuses On His Doorstep

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

When David Branford left his San Diego home on Saturday morning, he noticed a blanketed bundle outside of his front gate that he believed was a doll. An odd discovery, for sure, but one that you could chalk up to a child mistakenly leaving her toy behind on a walk. He went about his day and performed his morning chores -- possibly thinking a little girl and her mother would return for the toy at some point. But when Branford pulled up to his home at around 1:45 p.m., the "doll" was still there. He lifted the blanket to get a better look and, to his absolute horror, made the most gruesome and heartbreaking discovery: two , nearly full-term fetuses had been abandoned at his gate.

Both fetuses were dead and police confirmed they were at least 20 weeks old and each still had its umbilical cord attached to one placenta.

No one is sure how the fetuses died or why they were left in front of Branford's house, which is located down the street from St. Peter's Church.

Police cordoned off the area as homicide detectives search for clues that could lead to the mother. They have asked the public to help provide any information they have about a recently pregnant woman who does not have children.

More from The Stir: Woman Who Found Baby in Yard Shocks Everyone With Unexpected Confession (VIDEO)

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the homicide department on 858-974-2321 or after hours on 858-565-5200.

We simply don't have enough information to determine what happened here. Did this woman have a miscarriage? Did she (God, I can't even consider the possibility) hurt herself intentionally? Did someone else hurt her?

Let's hope police find this woman as soon as possible so that they can get some answers to this bizarre and heartbreaking incident.

What do you think happened here?

Catelynn Lowell Shares Sweet Baby Photo of Her Newborn Daughter (PHOTO)

Teen Mom's Catelynn Lowell is over the moon about her little girl -- whose name has been confirmed as Nova Reign. She and fiance, Tyler Baltierra welcomed their healthy baby into the world on New Year's Day and haven't wasted time sharing their feelings about experiencing parenthood for the second time (the couple put daughter Carly up for adoption in 2009 because they felt they were too young to handle the responsibility of a baby at the time). Both are blowing up their social media accounts with positive, loving messages AND recently shared a super-sweet photo of their teeny newborn.

Catelynn posted this gorgeous photo on her Instagram, along with the caption: "You are already my world... I love you so much you have already changed me in so many ways... mommy and daddy love you:"

So, maybe Nova's doting parents aren't quite ready to share what her eyes and little face look like with the rest of the world. That's okay! These tiny feet, bundled up under a beautiful lace blanket, tell us everything we need to know right now: Nova is enjoying some serious love and affection from mom and dad.

And Catelynn and Tyler aren't being stingy with their own love for each other, either -- which is important because it can be easy to momentarily forget about our partners when a newborn requires so much of our attention.

More from The Stir: Catelynn Lowell Gives Birth to Baby #2 on New Year's Day!

Catelynn recently gave her future husband a major shout-out on Twitter:

And it appears she was returning the favor because Tyler made his feelings known right after Catelynn gave birth by posting on Instagram, "Momma Bear holding our little angel! Can't tell you the feeling of witnessing this. Look at my beautiful bride to be! That woman is beyond strong, caring, and selfless. Couldn't have asked for a better little family #Blessed #NewYearBaby #MyGirls#AreMyWorld"

Is there anything better than these two?

Mom of 3 Gets Stuck Trying to Shimmy Down Boyfriend's Chimney -- Naked

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

Clik here to view.
A 35-year-old mother of 3 reportedly decided the best way to gain access to her boyfriend's home in Riverside County, California, when she couldn't open the front door at 5 a.m. was to, naturally, shimmy down the chimney, But, very much unlike Santa, the woman, whose partner, Tony Hernandez, is also the father of her children, figured the best way to fit down the chimney was to remove all of her pesky clothing first. We don't even have to tell you what happened next, right?

Hernandez says he was sleeping when he heard the woman cry out for help. To his horror, he found the mother, whom he described as his "estranged" girlfriend, stuck inside of his 12-by-12-inch chimney.

Instead of immediately calling the police, because this is all just a little too crazytown, Hernandez reportedly tried to get her out of the chimney with an extension cord, but couldn't. When firefighters arrived to help, it took them two hours to free the woman and they had to actually break the fireplace open in order to do so.

The woman was taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

Hernandez says the mom isn't supposed to be at his home and that she doesn't live with him and isn't allowed to be around their children. No word on whether their kids were home at the time, but let's hope to hell not -- how do you even begin to explain your mother's actions when they involve sliding naked down a chimney?

More from The Stir: Woman Arrested After She Was Stuck in Her Ex-Boyfriend's Chimney for Hours

Belive it or not, this is the second time in three months a woman has glanced up at a chimney and thought, perfect, while trying to get inside of the home of a man who clearly doesn't want her there. Men who, I might add, respond with exasperated, oh boy, she's at it again's, rather than complete and utter shock.

In October, 30-year-old Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa was arrested (in California -- what's in the water?) after she was stuck inside of her ex-boyfriend's chimney for hours. Turns out, they had met online and dated just a few times before she tried to allegedly break into his home for reasons unknown.

Would you press charges against this woman if you were the homeowner?

Body of 3-Week-Old Baby Girl Found After Home Abduction

The body of a missing 3-week-old baby who was abducted from her Long Beach, California, home after her mother and father and another adult reported to be her uncle were injured in a shooting was found dead. Little Eliza Delacruz was taken from her home by a heartless criminal during an incident that police believe was targeted. Frighteningly, the suspect remains on the loose.

Police responded to a call about a shooting on Saturday night at a Long Beach home and discovered two brothers and the baby's mother had been shot. One of the brothers was Eliza's father.

Police began a search for Eliza, who was reportedly taken by the unknown suspect, who fled with her immediately following the incident. Although detectives are unsure of the suspect's motive, they say they do not think the crime was random -- which makes sense because you have to know you are inflicting a pain worse than death on a parent by hurting their child.

Eliza's body was reportedly discovered in a dumpster on Sunday behind an Imperial Beach strip mall in San Diego. The cause of death is still unknown.

The three adult victims were hospitalized. One was reportedly released, while two remain in critical but stable condition.

More from The Stir: Grandma Murdered & 10-Month-Old Baby Abducted From Her Care

Police are still searching for an adult male whom they believe is responsible for this horrific crime. They haven't confirmed whether the suspect is related to the youngest victim but have asked the public to provide details if they recently witnessed a man bringing home an infant out of the blue.

I'm curious to see whether one of the adult victims will be able to provide clues for the police in the days going forward. Our hearts go out to this innocent little girl, who never had a chance to experience life before hers was stolen.

What do you think happened here? How do you think the suspect is connected to the family?

New Trend: Parents Move to College Towns So They Can Live With Their Kids

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
It's never easy for parents to wish their children farewell and drop them off at their college campus for the first time. So some parents simply choose to never do so. Instead, there is apparently a growing number of moms and dads who can't let go and are following their children to their college town, where they are renting or buying property -- and sometimes even living with their kids off-campus as they embark on their college careers. One mom and her daughter recently made headlines when they appeared on a Fox News segment to rave about how fantastic it is that they are freshman year roomies. And while their living arrangement might be ideal for them, for most parents, this is a recipe for disaster.

Kudos to the young lady who was interviewed and said she was pleased to be living with mom at age 19 -- I don't know many teens who would say the same. College is the time in a young person's life when they are finally able to take all of the lessons they've learned in their 18 years at home with mom and dad and apply them to the real world -- or the semi-real world, I should say, since real life doesn't generally include 24/7 opportunities to party at someone else's expense.

Parents who follow their children to college are fooling themselves if they think they are doing it for their kid's benefit -- the reality couldn't be less true. It seems what most are doing instead is sacrificing their child's development in order to satisfy some need they have to continue parenting because, maybe, they feel they need more time and didn't accomplish all they had hoped.

I can understand that desire to keep nurturing and protecting our young, but at some point, we have to throw our hands up and say, I've done a lot; it's up to you now.

College is that time.

My parents offered me the choice to move away for college, but I had no desire to leave New York City, and given how close my family lived to my university, it didn't make sense for them to pay for a dorm. As much as they promised me my independence, no child is independent when there is always a hot meal waiting for them, should they decide they don't feel like cooking that night.

My parents are very loving and slightly helicopter in their parenting approach -- not that there was a term for it then -- and not the types who would let me be uncomfortable for even a second for the sake of learning a lesson.

I spent my junior year studying abroad in London. It was my first real time away from home -- and I flunked at life in every way imaginable. I ate yogurt for every meal, stayed out until all hours, failed to take advantage of the many positive, enlightening academic experiences that were at my fingertips, squandered a whole ton of money on crap, and (deservedly) wound up sick with walking pneumonia, which lingered for about two months.

Granted, there are kids out there who are far more mature than I was -- who won't try and burn the house down when they're finally alone, just because they can.

More from The Stir: 18-Year-Old Sues Parents for College Tuition But Refuses to Follow Their Rules

Regardless, the message we're sending to our children when we don't let them go is that we don't believe they are capable of handling the big, scary world on their own. It takes quite a few years for sheltered kids to realize that they are just as strong as everyone else and that they actually won't be eaten alive the minute the umbilical cord is cut. As parents, the best thing we can do is give them the opportunity to fail, succeed, and grill a cheese sandwich all by their lonesome.

Would you move to your child's college town so you could be closer to him or her?

School Bus Collides With Train, Killing 2 and Injuring Several Children

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

A school bus bringing children home on Mondaycollided with a freight train in Larimore, North Dakota, killing 62-year-old driver Max Danner and a 17-year-old girl, who were both ejected from the vehicle upon impact. The bus was also carrying a dozen students whose ages range from 5 to 17, and many had to be transported to the hospital after this horrific tragedy. Police are trying to determine the reason for the crash and said the roads were not icy, the weather was clear, and the train had the right of way.

Danner reportedly failed to stop in front of a clearly marked train intersection with stop signs and struck the train as it was headed west, causing several children to be ejected from the bus. The train was only carrying empty flat-bed cars at the time, and the school bus was totaled in the accident. Investigators are looking into whether the driver may have had a medical condition that affected his judgment on the day of the accident.

Witnesses describe the scene as "chaotic" and say as many as 10 students were transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Six patients were still being treated as of last night, three had to be transferred to other hospitals for a "higher level of care," and one was released.

More from The Stir: Tragic School Bus Accident Leaves 3 Dead, Many Questions

It's frightening to think about what could happen when our children are not in our care. Even though tragedies like this one are rare, it still sends a shiver up our spines when we think about the parents of these children, having to rush to hospitals -- or worse -- after learning their kids were in a school bus crash.

Danner was reportedly a popular teacher, as well as the bus driver, who taught carpentry, agriculture, welding, engine, and livestock at Larimore High School. Little has been reported about the teen girl so far. Our hearts are with their families and friends and we pray for all of the children to recover quickly from this horrific accident.

Do your children take the school bus? Does it ever make you nervous?

Dad Accused of Bringing 5-Month-Old Baby to Commit Armed Burglary

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

Hiring the worst babysitter in the world would have been better than this. A 22-year-old man from St. Petersburg, Florida, had big plans on Monday night -- to allegedly break into a home with a knife. But Corey Mathews apparently didn't make the proper arrangements for his 5-month-old son ahead of time and reportedly decided to bring him along for the ride. And he didn't just leave him in the getaway vehicle -- he allegedly held onto his son's car seat and acted as a lookout while another man attempted to break into a home. And then things took a turn for the truly bizarre and horrific.

The homeowner reportedly returned to his residence at around 5:45 p.m. and found Mathews and his infant standing near the back of his house. The father yelled out a warning to his accomplice, who fled the scene. The homeowner claims Mathews first took off on a bicycle -- with the baby carrier still in hand -- and says he then walked down an alley to get away from the homeowner.

While calling 911, the gutsy homeowner reportedly followed Mathews -- something I'm guessing he might not have done if Mathews didn't have a baby in his arms.

But the homeowner obviously underestimated the suspect's desire to be a good role model. Because what happened next is stunning: police say Mathews placed his son's carrier on the ground, pulled a knife on the homeowner, and threatened his life.

More from The Stir: 2-Year-Old Is Held Hostage in Burglary Standoff

At the request of a police dispatcher on the other end of the phone, the homeowner retreated to his house and Mathews was arrested -- while still holding his son -- a short time later.

Police say they have both suspects in custody. Mathews has been charged with residential burglary, aggravated assault, child neglect, and violation of probation.

His child is reportedly staying with his paternal grandmother.

Why do you think this man would allegedly bring his baby to an armed burglary?

Jimmy Fallon Blew His Chance to Date Nicole Kidman (VIDEO)

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

Imagine finding out -- years too late -- that you could have dated Brad Pitt. That's pretty much the equivalent of Jimmy Fallon discovering last night that guest Nicole Kidman was totally into him but thought he wasn't interested when, instead of making a move while she was at his apartment years ago, he pulled a total boy and turned on a video game. Needless to say, Fallon practically fainted when she broke the heartbreaking news on The Tonight Show.

So here's what happened: several years before Fallon and Kidman were married (to other people, of course), Kidman's friend called up the comedian while they were in New York City and told him he was going to bring the actress over because she wanted to talk to him about appearing in Bewitched with her.

And Fallon actually believed that excuse -- god, men are clueless!

When she arrived at his apartment, Kidman said he was wearing some old sweats, would barely talk to her, and then committed the cardinal sin of turning on a video game, which is just insane. Can you picture having a gorgeous celeb at your home and not at least trying to serve them champagne and make small talk? Especially if you're both single?

Kidman, who is seven years older than Fallon, dropped the bomb of all bombs and admitted that she had a crush on the former Saturday Night Live star. But after she met him at his home, she gave up and assumed he was either not interested in her -- or was gay.

More from The Stir: Nicole Kidman Shouldn't Have to Take Pictures With Fans if She Doesn't Want To

Fallon honestly had no clue she dug him -- and it's evident by the look on his face and the fact that he nearly falls off of his chair when he learns he could have been Nicole Kidman's boyfriend.

The two, who are now both married with kids -- you may have heard Kidman's spouse is some guy named Keith Urban -- joked about their encounter oh-so-many years ago and about what might have been.

Check out this really adorable and funny clip and let us know if you sense any lingering chemistry between these two:

Mom Who Won't Stop Breastfeeding 6-Year-Old Is Going to Turn Her Into a Brat

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
If you thought the cover photo on Time magazine a few years ago showing a 3-year-old standing on a chair to breastfeed was controversial -- and even if you didn't -- you may want to sit down for this one. A 44-year-old mom from London is blowing up the Internet after she revealed she still breastfeeds her 6-year-old daughter and has no intention of stopping until little Belle decides she's ready to wean. Denise Sumpter, a PhD student studying ancient science, says her "mama's milk" has kept her two children -- she also has an 18-month-old son -- healthy and free from illnesses. Just as importantly, nursing provides her second grader with comfort -- and, for those reasons, she's sticking with it.

Sumpter said the frequency at which her daughter nurses varies anywhere from once a week to twice a day. Belle sometimes nurses when she feels tired, other times because she is sick -- and sometimes because she wants to bond with her mom.

There are even times when the young girl feeds from one breast while her little brother nurses from the other.

Look, of course I have an opinion about whether it's okay to breastfeed a 6-year-old or if it prevents her from finding age-appropriate ways to self-soothe. But I'm not this 6-year-old's mom, and since she isn't hurting her health and replacing breast milk with solid foods, I don't wish to focus on that aspect of this story.

But then there's this: Sumpter says she won't stop Belle from nursing until Belle says she is ready. Have we all gone so overboard in our belief that babies and children should lead the way that we are forgetting they are, 99.9 percent of the time, incapable of making good decisions for themselves and need us to step in?

A world in which we allow our kids to make nutrition decisions is also one in which cereal and peanut butter companies replace national flags with their logos and images of their cartoon mascots. Now imagine extending that whatever-my-child-wants attitude so that it applies to other aspects of life.

Sure, you can sleep in mommy and daddy's bed until you're 11.

Oh, you say you aren't ready to stop riding the escalator yet? Well, let's just keep riding it until the security guard kicks us out of the mall!

Perhaps you're saying, apples and oranges, my friend: breastfeeding isn't the same as riding on an escalator. I agree. But if one of the reasons a mom hasn't weaned her child yet is because the child refuses to do so, it's time to step in and regain control over the situation.

More from The Stir: 6 Rude Things Moms Let Their Kids Do (Tsk Tsk)

It doesn't seem like this logic applies here -- as I mentioned, Sumpter listed several reasons why she enjoys nursing her child. But the assumption that her elementary school-age daughter should breastfeed until she feels ready to quit makes the erroneous assumption that she is capable of deciding what's best for her mental and emotional health.

Do you think it's okay to let older children breastfeed if that's something they want to do?

Ben Affleck's Speech at People's Choice Awards Makes Us Love Him -- Again (VIDEO)

When the nation found out that Ben Affleck was going to receive the Humanitarian Award at the 2015 People's Choice Awards, quite a few of us probably shook our heads and said, wait, do you mean Batman? But, guys, we are wrong about Ben -- so wrong. Not only does he deserve the award for his work with the Eastern Congo Initiative, which he founded in 2010, he deserves it because he doesn't think he deserves it. Ben's humble, honest, and sweet acceptance speech gave us butterflies like it was 1997 all over again.

The father of three, who has visited the Democratic Republic of the Congo nine times, accepted the award from Amy Adams and immediately praised her instead of focusing on himself. He then joked that he has been called a lot of things in life, but "humanitarian" is probably not one of them.

Ben spent the bulk of his speech praising the people he works alongside, whom he calls true, dedicated humanitarians, and insisting that they deserve the award more than he does. And, yes, he seemed incredibly sincere.

He also shared what he says he learned from his experiences overseas -- namely, that the one thing everyone can do to help is show just a sliver of kindness to others.

I'll be the first to admit, I don't always take Ben seriously because he has been in so many blockbuster films and it's easy to see him as a big, hunky movie star. But his speech came across as genuine and I'm looking forward to seeing more of this side of Ben that I didn't know about.

Dad Charged With Throwing 5-Year-Old Daughter Off Bridge and Killing Her

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
A shocking story out of Florida this morning: a 5-year-old girl was reportedly thrown off of a bridge by her own father, and a police officer says he witnessed the entire incident. John Nicholas Jonchuck, Jr., 25, has been charged with first-degree murder and other offenses after authorities say he tossed his little girl, Phoebe, off of the Dick Misener Bridge in St. Petersburg shortly after midnight on Thursday.

An unidentified police officer says he was driving southbound on the I-275 when he noticed a Chrysler PT Cruiser speeding at 100 miles per hour. He turned his lights on and tried to stop the vehicle, but before he could, he reportedly witnessed the most horrific tragedy.

A driver, whom he says was Jonchuck, allegedly stopped his vehicle on the bridge, which is located near the Sunshine Skyway, and proceeded to throw the little girl off the railing. She reportedly fell an astounding 62 feet into the frigid Tampa Bay.

Another crazy aspect to this story is that police say Jonchuck calmly opened the passenger door to retrieve his daughter and throw her off of the bridge, then drove off from the crime scene at a normal speed. You have to wonder what in the hell what was going through this man's mind at the time. How could he do this to his own flesh and blood?

After an extensive search, Eckerd College Search & Rescue team divers reportedly found Phoebe's body in the bay. Paramedics tried to revive her, but the little girl died at All Children's Hospital a few hours later.

Jonchuck, meanwhile, was apprehended in Manatee County about 30 minutes after the incident. We don't have information about this man's motive and only know that he had custody of his daughter and that they lived in Tampa with his parents.

In addition to first-degree murder charges, Jonchuck has been charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle on a police officer.

Our hearts go out to this innocent child and to all of the family who are mourning her loss today.

Why do you think this father would allegedly throw his daughter off of a bridge?

Video Shows Police Tackling 14-Year-Old Girl After Fatally Shooting Her Brother

Two months ago, we learned the shocking news that a rookie police officer in Cleveland fatally shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice twice outside of a recreation center after mistaking his BB gun for the real thing. The latest scandal surrounding this tragedy just makes everything 100 times worse, I'm afraid. City officials recently released a new surveillance video that shows police officers tackling the victim's 14-year-old sister after the shooting and throwing her to the ground. It also reveals that officers may have responded with indifference after the young child was shot.

The incident took place on November 22 in front of the Cudell Recreation Center, where Tamir was reportedly playing with the fake gun. After Officer Timothy Loehmann, who was on the force for one year, reportedly shot the child twice, his sister can be seen running across to the grass to help her brother.

The girl is then reportedly stopped by Police Officer Frank Garmback, who pushes her down to the ground. Loehmann then helps his partner hold the girl down before she is handcuffed and forced into the back of the officer's police cruiser.

Meanwhile, instead of immediately helping Tamir, the officers are seen standing around his body. He isn't taken away by paramedics until an astounding 13 minutes later. An FBI agent, who just happened to be in the area and is not associated with the Cleveland Police Department, reportedly administered first aid to the boy a few minutes after the shooting.

Considering the numerous protests that have taken place in cities across the nation after the police shooting deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, this latest video is certainly not going to do anything to help repair the fractured relationship between the police and the public.

Here is a clip from the controversial surveillance video:

What do you think about what the police did to the teen girl?

Emily Maynard Is Pregnant With Baby Number 2

Hurray -- our favorite Bachelorette is expecting another bundle of joy! Emily Maynard has confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child with husband Tyler Johnson and we couldn't be more excited. The 28-year-old has endured a lot of heartache and disappointment over the last few years, and if anyone deserves happiness, it's this fabulous mom.

Maynard's baby will already have the best babysitter on the planet: her 9-year-old sister Ricki, whom the reality star raised on her own after her fiance and high school sweetheart Ricky Hendrick died in a plane crash in 2004.

Proving she is as strong as a rock, Maynard didn't close herself off to love after the tragedy and won the heart of BradWomack on season 15 of The Bachelor. Their relationship lasted barely one year, but it opened the door for Maynard to gain even more fame as the star of The Bachelorette, which introduced her to her next love, Jef Holm.

I think you know what happened next: Emily and Jef split in 2012 after a very short engagement. But like every other obstacle Emily has faced, that didn't stop her from moving on.

They say good things come to those who wait, and Emily's life has been proof of that. All of her breakups led to a strong, stable relationship with Johnson, who sweetly proposed to her last January by presenting rings for both her and Ricki.

Emily deserves to be happy and we are thrilled to see her family growing.

Are you surprised to hear that Emily Maynard is pregnant so soon after getting married?

New Study Links Circumcision to Autism

Post by Lisa Fogarty.

A new study has proved incredibly controversial because it links an already contentious topic -- circumcision -- to autism. A group of Danish researchers recently released a study in which they claim baby boys who are circumcised are 50 percent more likely to develop autism before they are 10 than non-circumcised boys.

Denmark's Statens Serum Institut conducted a 9-year study involving 342,877 Danish boys who were born between 1994 and 2003. Researchers say they learned that the risks of developing infantile autism, which generally affects children under the age of 5, doubled when the boys were circumcised.

It isn't known exactly what effect circumcision has on a child that would result in the development of autism, but one theory is that the pain and trauma caused by the procedure at such a young age could link it to the neurodevelopmental disorder.

Morten Frisch, a senior investigator at SSI, explained that it is already known that there is an increased risk of autism in babies who are born in "a rough way and begin their lives in the intensive wards" and says it could be possible that the extreme pain felt during circumcision contributes to autism later in life.

But some health experts, including Professor David Katz, chairman of Milah UK, which aims to protect the Jewish community's right to circumcise, warns that the report should not be taken as gospel just yet.

"Correlation does not equal causation," Katz said. He noted that there have long been attempts to link autism to other factors, including measles, mumps, and rubella, and that nothing has been proven yet.

Does this study influence how you feel about circumcision?

Frugal Mom of 4 Resorts to Extreme Shopping Rules to Bust Her $15,000 Debt (VIDEO)

A stay-at-home mother of four from Utah who calls herself the "Queen of Frugal" is an inspiration for all women who desperately want or need to save money but can't seem to get past living paycheck to paycheck.

When a housing project that 28-year-old Jordan Page and her husband, Bubba, were working on together fell apart about four years ago and forced the family into $15,000 credit card debt with practically no salary to live off of, Page didn't break down and give up. She picked herself up, dusted herself off, and made it a point to pinch pennies in a way that will actually be feasible for many women -- yes, even those of us who love our salon blow-outs.

Jordan created a website called Fun Cheap or Free, where she offers tips on how to grocery shop, manage your finances, and continue to look amazing -- without $80 eye shadow.

As a mom whose greatest challenge is figuring out how not to spend $1,000 on groceries every month, I say "hallelujah" to this: Jordan doesn't believe in couponing. AMEN. She admits something I've always felt about the act of clipping coupons: it takes too damn long and rarely applies to meat, produce, and dairy -- the most costly items in our carts.

Jordan claims it's entirely possible to spend no more than $100 per person, per month, on groceries. Say what?! Yes, it's true. I was skeptical, but her tips make total sense. For example, she suggests not stepping foot in a grocery store more than once each week. If you have to, eat toast instead of cereal and use powdered milk -- but don't even think of going out "just for eggs" because you WILL wind up realizing you need cookies, juice, hummus, and $50 worth of other "necessities."

More from The Stir: Woman Does the Unthinkable to Save Money Around the House

Some of Jordan's other amazingly smart tips include:

1. Considering expenses like "eating out, Starbucks, and manicures" the way you would junk food in your diet and simply cutting them out.

2. Familiarizing yourself with the many, great $5 and less makeup items on the market so you can continue being your stunning self without breaking the bank.

3. Planning your YEAR in advance -- in other words, decide in January how much to spend on your spouse's June birthday and stick with that plan.

4. Stocking up on next year's school supplies THIS year.

5. Trading babysitting favors with friends so you can still go on date nights without paying a babysitter a small fortune.

6. Plan all of your week's meals ahead of time using leftovers first. Then check out the sales at your store to decide what other dinners you'll prepare that week.

Oh, this woman is so brilliant, I could go on and on.

And did I mention that she is absolutely gorgeous and funny and posts awesome vids like this one? It shows women how to apply fake eyelashes at home so we can save money on costlier cosmetics we really don't need.

It's a good thing Jordan is already married because I do believe my husband would fall head over heels for her.

Jessica Chastain's Yearbook Photo Is Too Gorgeous To Be Real (PHOTO)

If there's one celebrity story that we're tired of hearing, it's the one about all of these so-called "ugly ducklings" who grew up to become supermodels. I mean, come on. One or two stories are believable, but does anyone actually buy it when Christie Brinkley laments about how hideous she was at 16, while still stopping traffic at age 60? There's no way. It's refreshing to learn that at least one gorgeous celeb isn't pretending she was anything less than insanely beautiful as a teen. Zero Dark  Thirty star Jessica Chastain recently posted a throwback photo from high school that proves 99 percent of celebrity "ugly ducklings" are lying through their teeth.

Jessica recently admitted that she never actually graduated from El Camino Fundamental High School in California, namely necause she had racked up too many absences to earn her diploma. She says that experience was a total blow to her confidence and that, even though she eventually earned her adult diploma at Julliard -- which isn't too shabby -- it was difficult for her to shake the feeling that she wasn't as intelligent as everyone else.

Totally sad, and given her enormous talent and her movie success since high school, I'm sure the 37-year-old is a lot more confident these days.

With that said, there's one area I'm guessing she never felt like she was lacking in: the looks department. Jessica must have sat for her senior yearbook portrait before finding out she wasn't going to graduate. Here it is:

How is this portrait even real? How can we be sure this isn't a painting of Jessica? How is it possible the actress didn't have one blemish on her face -- not a single gorgeous red hair out of place?

More from The Stir: Jessica Chastain Finally Admits Deep Dark Secret From Her Teen Years

Let's remember Jessica took this photo in the mid '90s, and yet, she somehow managed not to look at all dated, which is a miracle. There's no trace of Manic Panic hair dye, no coffee-brown lipstick, no glittery eye shadow. I think her lip liner is slightly too dark, which is the only '90s clues here, but she somehow manages to make it work. I mean, what the hell, Jessica?

Either someone who seriously loves Jessica advised her not to look like she was a Nirvana groupie or this girl just knew how to take a damn good, timeless photo.

Color me impressed. Hands down: best yearbook photo ever.

What do you think of Jessica's yearbook portrait? Does yours look like hers?
