Things have gotten so bad between Beyonce and Jay Z that the two are staying in separate hotel rooms while on their "On the Run" tour. But that's not what has their "people" worried. Apparently, everyone in their camp knows the two are headed for divorce court -- they just didn't think it would happen before they stood to make millions more from their tour dates.
An emergency meeting reportedly took place this week and in attendance were both singers, as well as their lawyers and concert promoters. The subject? How can they keep their profitable act going while not trying to kill each other.
The two plan on traveling to San Francisco early this week and then wrapping things up with a grand finale in Paris. But one source told the New York Post that everyone is expressing major doubts that the duo will make it to Europe. They even have lawyers traveling with them to make sure they put on a good game face for fans because there's a lot at stake here for lots of people -- including HBO execs who have planned a special with tour footage to air in September.
But it's not looking good for Blue Ivy's parents. I mean, Beyonce has been spotted shopping for an apartment -- alone -- in New York City. No bueno. There are rumors that Jay Z has been with lots of other women -- singers Mya and Rihanna among them. And what about the fact that Beyonce changed the lyrics to her song "Resentment" to basically make it clear to everyone in the world that she had been wronged by her husband?
I can't imagine how these two must feel having to be around each other all of the time and make believe there's magic there when all they want to do is spend time apart. Then again, they know what they're doing. They know they are setting themselves and Blue Ivy up (as if they aren't already set up) for a VERY sweet future with the profits they make from this mega tour. If they can keep their act going for just a few more shows without imploding, why not do it?
