As a supermodel, Heidi Klum has access to every fashion designer -- every trend, every article of clothing -- that her beautiful heart desires. Naturally, we expect the fashionable mom of four to pass along her wardrobe and natural sense of style to her two lucky daughters, Lou Samuel and Leni Samuel.

We just didn't think her girls would be rocking full-grown adult woman footwear so soon. Lou and Leni are just 4 and 10, respectively, and were spotted leaving a restaurant with Klum wearing high heels that might seem a tad inappropriate to some moms.

The Project Runway host treated all of her children to an expensive sushi dinner at New York City's Nobu restaurant, which sounds like a wonderful bonding experience and an opportunity to teach her kids about good table manners. So far, so good. Her cute-as-can-be daughters wore precious, pretty, and AGE APPROPRIATE dresses -- Lou sported a tie-dye maxi and Leni went with a blue sequinned dress.

But then things got a little odd. Lou's silver sandals have a tiny heel -- one you probably wouldn't even notice -- but Leni's black heels, which look almost identical to her mom's, are way high for a little girl:

Do they actually sell heels this high for children? Maybe Leni is already wearing a woman's shoe size? Either way, I can't help but think these shoes are both dangerous for a child to wear and just a little too sexy for a 10-year-old.

As the mom of a little girl who is starting to play dress-up in my closet, I understand daughters want to emulate their mom's style, and it's pretty flattering that Leni wants to be so much like Klum. Who can blame her? I try to let my toddler express herself by allowing her to leave the house in her tutu, mismatched socks and shoes, and a measuring tape she wears around her neck and calls her "magic necklace." Self-expression is important. And usually harmless.

But I'd be afraid to let my very young tween walk around in heels like this. I wouldn't want men and boys to look at her and think ANYTHING they shouldn't be thinking, and I'm sorry, but as gross as it sounds, I believe some will -- particularly if she's wearing these shoes and appears to be a lot older than her age.

Would you let your 10-year-old wear high heels in public?
