They're usually thick as thieves -- and have been inseparable since the Bachelorette finale -- which is why it's bizarre to hear that Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth reportedly spent Thanksgiving apart. The next question, naturally, is: Is everything okay in paradise?
Let's cut to the chase: Kaitlyn and Shawn are just fine and as in love as ever. The young couple, who recently relocated to Nashville after living together in her hometown of Vancouver, were forced to spend the holiday apart because Shawn was suffering from a bad cold. If that sounds like an excuse, it really isn't -- he complained earlier in the week about needing a Neti Pot to help relieve his stuffy nose.
If Kaitlyn and Shawn were experiencing any turmoil at all in their relationship, she certainly wouldn't have left him on Thanksgiving to go and cut bread (and turkey) with his family, which is exactly what she did. The former dance instructor posted a cute photo on Instagram with Shawn's dad and two sisters and their families, and made it perfectly clear Shawn wouldn't go hungry that night.

The fact that Kaitlyn feels comfortable enough to hang out with Shawn's family without him on a major holiday speaks volumes about their relationship. These two really do seem like they've been soul mates forever -- they're natural together and love doing even the most mundane things while in each other's company.
Many Bachelorette fans expressed doubt that they would make it past a few months, and you can't blame them -- few reality TV couples stand the test of time. But, with the exception of their impressive social media presence, Kaitlyn and Shawn have wisely taken their relationship out of the public eye and appear to be in this for all of the right reasons. I think Kaitlyn's Shawn-less photo tells us everything we need to know about how involved this couple actually is in each other's lives.
