We're used to being blown away by everything the Duchess of Cambridge wears, but you've never seen her dressed like this. Kate Middleton wore a gorgeous sheer dress to the Spectre premiere, and it's the talk of the town.

Kate attended the James Bond movie premiere in London with Prince William and Prince Harry, both of whom were decked out in spiffy tuxedos. But Kate stole the show by making an entrance in true Bond Girl style: She wore an icy blue-gray Jenny Packham halter gown with a crystal belt, a jeweled "Casa" clutch, aquamarine chandelier earrings, and Jimmy Choo platform sandals. And -- the best part -- her dress was completely sheer in the back.

She looked beyond gorgeous.

Of course, we have to include a photo of her from the back:

It's almost impossible for Kate to look bad, but I have to admit: This is the best I think I've seen the mom of two look in years. She ordinarily favors bright jewel colors like ruby and sapphire, but this softer, cooler shade really suits her skin tone and eye color. It's sometimes difficult to achieve sexy elegance without looking like you've tried too hard, but that's exactly what Kate does here. She is effortlessly stunning.

If you're wondering why the royals took a break from their duties to attend the premiere, there's an explanation for that. Spectre is the third James Bond film chosen for a Royal Film Performance, and the profits from the screening will help aid the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, which supports people who work behind the scenes in British films.

In other words: Kate is just being her natural, breathtakingly beautiful self for the sake of charity.
