It takes some couples years before they realize they have what it takes to spend the rest of their lives together. But Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are already reportedly fighting as they plan a speedy wedding and try to agree on other important life decisions.
Rumors are swirling about the 30-year-old dancer and her personal trainer fiancé and the news isn't all positive: Sources say they have a lot of issues they need to work out before walking down the aisle. For starters: the wedding itself. Apparently, they can't decide where they want to wed and when they want to plan the big day. They've been spending a lot of time in Vancouver, which is Kaitlyn's hometown, so perhaps they're also scouting wedding locations as they unwind and get to know each other?
Another major issue appears to be where they would like to put down roots after they tie the knot. The Ryan Gosling lookalike is currently living in Nashville and he hasn't commented on whether he would be willing to relocate for Kaitlyn. If you ask me, theirs sounds like the perfect situation: Rent or buy property in both Vancouver and Nashville and split your time between two equally incredible cities. Problem solved!

Another big problem, according to insiders, is that Kaitlyn is mulling over the idea of joining the cast of Dancing With the Stars, which is the ideal project for her, but Shawn isn't so sure it's the right move for them. Note to Shawn: Step aside and give your girlfriend support and encouragement. If appearing on the reality show is something she really wants to do but Shawn stops her, she's going to resent him for it.
All couples have issues to work through prior to getting married, so Kaitlyn and Shawn's situation doesn't automatically mean they're doomed. But they shouldn't feel like they have to be in a rush to get married. If they're into each other and feel they're a solid couple with a future, they should ignore the media pressure and take things slowly so they can make the right decisions for themselves.
