It may be the end of a (strange) era. Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner reportedly want to quit Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but one person is begging them to stay on the show — guess who?
Rumor has it the three sisters met with mom Kris Jenner to discuss the future of the TV show, which has been on the air since 2007 (can you believe it's been that long?). Khloé, 31, Kim, 34, and Kylie, 18, still want to be on television, according to sources, but they feel they've outgrown the show that made them famous — and are not interested in spin-offs, either.
As you can guess, a source told Life & Style magazine that Kris automatically freaked and pleaded with them to stay on for one more season, but they insisted the show has jumped shark and told her they don't want to be a part of it anymore.
Apparently, Kim's husband Kanye West thinks the show is "beneath her," while Khloé reportedly blames KUWTK for screwing up her marriage to Lamar Odom (I highly doubt she thinks his addiction problems weren't the actual culprit, but who knows). As for Kylie: She's 18. She grew up on KUWTK and is reportedly tired of being followed everywhere she goes and would rather enjoy what's left of her adolescence by hanging out with friends and possibly even going into business with Tyga (far-fetched, for sure, but I'm only reporting what a source said).
More from The Stir: Kylie Jenner's Real Reason for Leaving 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Will Make Kim Furious
I could understand why the siblings would want to move on from the show. Considering Kendall's successful career, Caitlyn Jenner's departure from the show and her own docuseries, and Kourtney's ongoing drama with Scott Disick, it seems like now would be a good time for the others to call it quits and focus on the future.
But, if this rumor is true, it's also important to remember that Kris wields a great deal of influence over her daughters. It will be interesting to see whether she is able to convince them to stay — especially considering the fact that they signed a $100 million, four-year deal with E! just a few months ago.
