Khloe Kardashian is going to defend her little sister Kylie Jenner no matter what she does, but that doesn't mean the 30-year-old reality TV show star isn't critical of some of her 17-year-old sibling's choices in life. So we've all heard by now that Kylie's inflated lips are not the result of lip liner, but are indeed the product of lip fillers. Khloe has a big problem with one aspect of this controversial revelation.
In a sneak peek of tomorrow's Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kylie is thrown off guard when a reporter asks her about her big lips. She is obviously super nervous and doesn't know how to—and certainly doesn't want to—answer the question. So she sort-of dodges it. And Khloe is quick to warn her that she's making a huge mistake.
Credit where it's due: no matter how you feel about their decisions to surgically enhance their bodies, at least Khloe is being honest about it.
I'm not surprised that Khloe says she doesn't think there is anything wrong with her sister's decision to get her lips plumped—her family obviously has a lax attitude about plastic surgery. But Khloe has learned the hard way that someone in the public eye isn't going to get away with lying (or "tiptoeing around the truth," as Kylie prefers to call it) for very long.

I have to say: I feel bad for Kylie. She's only 17 and grew up in a reality TV show family. It's not as if she had the ability to decide at a very young age that she wouldn't participate in this. As for plastic surgery, it is as much a part of her universe as visits to church are for other families.
She must constantly feel intense pressure to live up to impossibly high beauty standards and, when she attempts to change something about her appearance that she doesn't like, knows she is going to be scrutinized and pulled apart at the seams for it.
It's good to know Khloe is looking out for her, but I still can't help but feel extremely sad for this young teen, who looks like a glam woman in magazines, but in video, is really just an insecure kid trying to navigate a bizarre world.
