Clik here to view.It isn't often that you hear about a person who did something so heinous you question the existence of pure evil in the world, but you can count this as one of those times.
A Michigan man reportedly walked right up to an innocent 2-year-old girl who was playing on her porch with her father and fatally shot her execution-style before shooting her dad and a 12-year-old friend of the family.
And the motive behind this disgusting act? He wanted to get revenge on the toddler's father and force him to watch his daughter die.
Little Kamiya LaShawn Gross-French, who was just a few days shy of celebrating her third birthday, was outside her house with dad Kenneth French and Chelsea Lancaster when Raymone Bernard Jackson, 24, allegedly approached them and shot Kamiya in the face. The shooter, who is known as "Money" in his neighborhood, wanted Kamiya's killing to be the last thing French saw, according to police.
The toddler was pronounced dead at the hospital. Jackson reportedly shot her father and Chelsea, as well, and the two remain hospitalized. Kenneth is reportedly in stable condition and Chelsea is in critical condition but is doing better, according to her family.
Police say Jackson targeted the girl's dad in retaliation for a shooting that took place at an after-hours club back in April. The suspect, who has a lengthy criminal record that includes drug charges, has been charged with premeditated first-degree murder, torture, assault with intent to murder, felonious assault and felon in posession of a firearm. He is being held without bond.
Police say a second suspect has been arrested and is being questioned, but additional details haven't been released.
What kind of a human being even thinks of hurting an innocent baby like this? I don't care what issues Jackson and French had with one another, this is simply one of the most evil acts I can think of. I hope this poor girl's family -- as well as Chelsea's family -- find some sense of calm during this tragic time. Friends of Kamiya's family have set up a page on giveforward.com where people can donate money to the family and leave messages for them.
What consequence do you feel the suspect should face if he is found guilty?
