Adam Levine is a lot like that one hot guy you dated in high school who didn't call for five days, then showed up at your door with flowers, then didn't call again for another 12 days. He's a sexy, sexy, kind-of jerky guy whom you'd forgive over and over again because -- well, just look at him, that's why.
But Adam's many ex-girlfriends, who seemed to have put up with a ton of his crap, may not agree with me. As the eternal bachelor prepares to walk down the aisle in July and marry model Behati Prinsloo, he has reportedly decided that NOW is the ideal time to reach out to his exes and do something truly narcissistic.
The 35-year-old Maroon 5 singer apparently wants to enter his marriage with a clean slate and has taken to contacting his ex-girlfriends and apologizing to them for treating them like dirt. And they are apparently not being as forgiving as he had hoped.
Are you wondering if The Voice star set aside a few weeks to take on this Herculean task? Because, if rumors are correct, he hasn't done right by several of his (mostly) model girlfriends. He reportedly ended a relationship with model Nina Agdal by ignoring her phone calls and then texting her that he was engaged to Prinsloo. Nice!
Levine seems to favor texting, which is odd considering his age and the fact that he should know better. He reportedly also broke up with Jessica Simpson via text.
And then there's Victoria's Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna, who appeared in his music video for the song "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" and reportedly dumped Levine before he could dump her first. Poor Rebecca Ginos, a cocktail waitress, got to hear about how "hot" she was in bed when Levine outed her on the Howard Stern show. And ... should I go on?

I guess we should give credit where it's due. At least Levine is owning up to his bad boyfriend behavior. But what's the point of calling them years after the fact? It seems like something he's doing more for himself than for anyone else. Okay, I admit I don't trust him. But he had years to apologize to the women he hurt, and it's a little too much, too late in the game to matter now.
What would you say if an ex-boyfriend called you years later to apologize for how he treated you?
