Post by Lisa Fogarty.

Few foods seem as perfect for springtime and the start of baseball season as juicy hot dogs with all the trimmings on top. But you may want to hold off on indulging in the all-American food tradition until you read this. Kraft Foods Group is recalling 96,000 pounds of Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners because of a possible mix-up in labeling in which some packages may contain Classic Cheese Dogs.

The cheese dogs are made with milk -- which could cause an allergic reaction in some people who assume they are about to sink their teeth into a plain hot dog.

Here are all of the details you'll need to know to stay safe.

The recall is for 16-oz. individual packages of "Classic Wieners Made With Turkey & Chicken, Pork Added" that have a USE BY date of June 16, 2014 and the product code 044700000632. The recall also affects cases of 16-oz. packages labeled "Classic Cheese Dogs Made With Turkey & Chicken, Pork Added, and Pasteurized Cheese Product" with a USE BY date of June 16, 2014 and the case code 00447000005300.

The products in question were produced on March 2 to 3, 2014 and were distributed to stores across the nation, so we should all check our freezers before deciding to make it a BBQ night. If you have a recalled package, it will contain the establishment number "Est. 537H" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

More from The Stir: Massive Kraft Cheese Recall Announced

Thankfully, no one has reported having an adverse reaction to the cheese dogs, and Kraft seems to have tackled the problem before it became a major problem.

If you have questions about the recall, contact Kraft Consumer Relations at (855) 688-4386.

What's your favorite way to dress up a delish hot dog?
