Post-baby bodies are big news. While every celeb under the sun who has given birth seems eager to fit back into her size 2 jeans in less than three weeks, Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry seems to be taking her time and doing things the right way. The mom of two, who recently gave birth to son Lincoln, has been spotted stepping out and enjoying herself in her Delaware hometown and she couldn't look happier -- or healthier. It's clear Kailyn has lost a lot of her baby weight -- good for her -- but it's also evident that she is focusing on her children and her life and not on starving herself to look like a supermodel.
Did I mention ... she looks great?!
Kailyn recently enjoyed some quality time with her husband Javi Marroquin, son Isaac, and her newborn at a local IHOP restaurant. Despite what seems like her recent commitment to eating healthfully -- she even posted a photo of herself on Instagram receiving a delivery of healthy meals from Blue Apron Meals -- I love the fact that she isn't obsessive about it and can still relax and splurge on a pancake or two.

New moms need to keep up their energy and Kailyn looks strong and competent. She's carrying her son's carseat like a pro -- and those darn things can be heavy, remember!
I admit Kailyn has always been a favorite of mine. Her recent willingness to open up about being raped when she was a freshman in high school took an incredible amount of courage. She's a wonderful role model for women everywhere who are looking to get their lives back on track after being victimized in such a brutal way.
And now she can add "post-baby body role model" to her resume, as well. Kailyn is reminding women everywhere that we needn't kill ourselves to look great after a baby. She appears to be taking her time and enjoying life to the fullest. The weight will continue to fall off in due time. Good for her!
