Well, that didn't take very long. Just a few days after season 20 of The Bachelor premiered, its hunky star appeared on national TV and admitted fame isn't all it's cracked up to be. Ben Higgins told Jimmy Kimmel he really didn't like being the Bachelor -- and, given his sweet, down-to-earth nature, it's easy to understand his gripes.
The 26-year-old is a tall, dark, and handsome dream who obviously attracts a lot of attention from women, but that doesn't mean he's always comfortable with the position he put himself in as the star of one of the most popular reality dating shows of all time.
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ben revealed he is having a tough time watching episodes from the show, which, we must remember, he filmed months ago and are now ancient history for him.
"I get embarrassed of myself sometimes," Ben admitted, telling Jimmy he usually watches the episodes by himself and will warn his parents if anything is about to get a little too sexy for their eyes. He went on to explain how he feels about taking on the Bachelor role: "I don't know if I'd categorize this as fun. It's taxing and I think emotionally you get sucked up in everything."

Part of Ben's appeal is that you get the feeling watching him that he truly isn't in this for the opportunity to make out with dozens of women and not owe them an explanation when he decides they aren't going to receive roses. Ben even copped up to crying a few times this season because he couldn't stand hurting some of the women — a necessary evil if you plan on finding your one true soul mate on The Bachelor.
Fans of the show may not have a clue who Ben will ultimately choose, but Jimmy has a few predictions: and their names are JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell as the final two. I must admit: I think Jimmy is spot-on! Unfortunately, Ben's not talking so we'll have to wait and see who steals his heart.
