It's officially happening — like, truly, finally, happening. EL James announced she traveled to Vancouver this week, and you know what that means: Fifty Shades Darker is just weeks away from beginning its hectic shooting schedule.
The author revealed through Instagram that she and Fifty Shades producer Dana Brunetti traveled together to Canada, where most of Fifty Shades of Grey was shot, but in what is becoming typical fashion for them, she failed to explain exactly what they would be doing there.
Even though neither of them came clean about whether they were scouting locations or meeting with other folks linked to the upcoming sequel, James and Brunetti have been attached at the hip lately, which proves they are both hard at work and that the film is on track to meet its February 2017 release date.
Here's James's photo from the plane — director James Foley was also on board:

She followed that one up with a photo of Vancouver, where Christian Grey will continue to run his publishing empire and seduce Anastasia Steele:

But don't get too excited — James has since returned to London, where I'm guessing she and her husband will spend the holiday season:

Brunetti, as well, posted an adorable photo of himself and James after their return to Los Angeles, with the caption: "We quit! Back to LA." Hardly true. This duo better rest now while they can, because it sounds like they'll be right back on that jet plane after the new year, and this time, they'll be expected to spend months in lovely Vancouver, along with Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
Doesn't exactly sound like work, does it?!
