He's one of the busiest actors in the biz these days, but Jamie Dornan has time to take selfies with his fans, no matter where he is. While filming scenes for The Fall in Northern Ireland, the Irish actor proved he's really just a nice, down-to-earth guy by stopping whatever he was doing to greet people and make their day.
The 33-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey star, who is scheduled to begin shooting Fifty Shades Darker after the new year, is not taking a break before the Fifty Shades whirlwind. While traveling in Belfast, where he is reprising his role as psycho serial killer Paul Spector in The Fall, Dornan was stopped by fans everywhere he roamed — from the Sunflower Bar to Belfast City Airport.
He could have easily and understandably turned down some of the many requests he received for autographs and to pose for photos, but according to those who were lucky enough to meet him, that's just not Dornan's style. Instead, he reportedly posed for countless selfies with anyone who asked — nice!

When you're super awesome, naturally, folks are going to sing your praises. An airport maintenance worker named Gary Ross had this glowing report about the real-life Christian Grey, as reported by the Irish Examiner:
I was walking in as he was walking out to the short stay car park. I just caught a glimpse of him because he was texting someone and I thought he looked familiar. Then I realized it was Jamie Dornan and I couldn't miss the opportunity and when he finished on the phone I asked him if he was Jamie. He was dead on. He stopped for a quick chat and was happy to get a selfie taken. He said he was happy to be home but the weather was crap and I just laughed.
It can't be easy for Jamie, who is notoriously private and hardly ever engages with fans through social media. People shouldn't confuse his lack of desire to correspond with fans online with a lack of appreciation for them. It sounds like he is more than willing to interact with people who love his work, but that the setting has to be face-to-face for him to feel comfortable.
No problem — we'll take it! Moral of the story: If ever you see Jamie on the street, don't be shy — and ask for selfies.
