It's time for your daily reminder that a Fifty Shades of Grey sequel is headed your way, no matter how unlikely it seems at times. Author E.L. James proved she's hard at work on Fifty Shades Darker by posting photos on Instagram that will get your hopes up in the best possible way.

After all the reports about possible delays in the shooting schedule — not to mention the fact that the film still doesn't have a casting director and has yet to fill pivotal roles -- James proves things are rolling along nicely on the production side. Her first photo simply showed producer Michael DeLuca's nameplate, but the hashtag #working gives away the goods:

Perhaps in an effort to clear up any confusion or to clarify things, James then posted this photo showing her seated at a table in a meeting with DeLuca, producer Dana Brunetti, director James Foley, and husband Niall Leonard, who is writing the script for Fifty Shades Darker. Any and all rumors about trouble in paradise can officially be put to bed:

More from The Stir: Test Your 'Fifty Shades Darker' Knowledge (QUIZ)

Both Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan have confirmed they are reprising their roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, but there's still no word on who will play Jack Hyde (Ian Somerhalder?), Leila Williams, or Mrs. Robinson. Still, any and all steps forward are positive at this point. For all we know, the actors and actresses who will eventually be cast in the film have already unofficially agreed and are just waiting for contracts to sign so they can pop the bubbly.

The film is expected to be released on Feb. 10, 2017, with Fifty Shades Freed expected to hit theaters on Feb. 9., 2018. It looks like it will still happen — more exciting news is probably right around the corner.
