You may be wondering why, after hearing Prince Harry and ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy were reuniting, nothing seems to have come from it (yet). Brace yourself: Harry is reportedly still interested in Cressida Bonas— and Kate Middleton is not a happy camper.
The 31-year-old prince and 26-year-old model/actress split in 2014 but have remained friends ever since — she even hung out with him and some pals at a pub a few weeks ago to celebrate Harry's birthday. Rumor had it the two really were just pals and that Harry was trying to woo back Chelsy, a socialite from Africa with whom he shared an on-off relationship for seven years, starting way back in 2004. There was even talk that Harry considers Chelsy his soul mate and wants to eventually propose to her.
But now gossip has shifted in Cressida's favor, and the latest news is that she and Harry may be rekindling their relationship — something the Duchess of Cambridge is totally against. Sources say Kate really doesn't like Cressida and doesn't think she's a good match for Harry or the royal family.
It may have something to do with the fact that Prince William was romantically linked to Cressida's half sister Isabella Calthorpe, but seriously, that was a million years ago when the two were taking a "break" from dating — I'm guessing she simply feels more loyalty toward Chelsy, who attended the royal couple's wedding with Harry right before the two announced they were breaking up.

If you believe the rumor, Kate is even trying to convince William to talk Harry out of getting back together with Cressida because she doesn't trust her and fears she will hurt her brother-in-law once again.
I'm not sure what to think at this point. Kate is entitled to her opinion and, as someone who is very close to Harry and privy to his true feelings, probably has insight into how much his split with Cressida hurt him. I highly doubt that after the passing of so many years she still feels threatened by Isabella, but I could also understand not wanting to be related through marriage to someone your husband was gaga over at one point.
I guess the real question here is: Chelsy, where are you?
