Ooh la la! Forget Fifty Shades Darker for a few seconds — Dakota Johnson proved she is a superstar in a high-waisted black skirt, silky tank, and dark sunglasses when she showed up at an event in New York City looking like a goddess.
Dakota, 25, basically stepped off of a plane after attending the Venice Film Festival, where she promoted A Bigger Splash, and made NYC know she is ready to take on New York Fashion Week. Everything about her classic movie star look here is on point — from the oversized glasses and gorgeously tousled honey-brown bob to the skirt that fits like a glove and that amazing chartreuse handbag.
OMG, what a babe! I'm pretty sure the expression on her face is what truly makes this look — the girl knows she is in demand and is rocking a bit of a diva attitude here. It totally works.

Dakota has a bit of a break from now until the new year, when she will begin filming Fifty Shades Darker. My guess is that we can expect to see a lot of her in the next few weeks because there's no way she's going to miss out on all of the fashion shows in NYC, Paris, Milan, and London. Although she is best known for her laid-back California style, Dakota looks amazing in designer creations and everyone is going to be scrambling for the chance to style her.
Let's hope we see more Old Hollywood looks like this one on her — it really suits her personality.
