It's about time someone sticks up for Kris Jenner. Khloé Kardashian reportedly told Caitlyn Jenner she "mistreated" Kris after her transition in a series of secret text messages she sent to her dad.
If anyone is going to tell it like is, it's Khloé, who speaks her mind and can always be counted on for honesty. After Caitlyn claimed in her coming-out Vanity Fair interview that ex-wife Kris had "mistreated" her and "wasn't very nice," her 31-year-old step-daughter reportedly sent her a slew of critical text messages in which she chewed her out for being so tough on Kris.
In this preview clip for I Am Cait, Caitlyn confronts Khloé about the texts, calling them "tough." Here's what Khloé had to say in response:
Kim said that you said they were tough and Kim read all of them, and she was like, 'These really weren't that tough.' I just said we don't care what you're doing, meaning like we don't care if you wanna transition. We wanna support you and be there for you. But, we don't think that that entails you speaking negatively about my mom.

She continued:
In our opinion, you don't even need to mention our mom. Let's focus on the actual cause here and let's not drag my mom through the mud. I would think you would come from more of a place of compassion, especially when you have two young daughters who are greatly affected by it.
Khloe's argument seems so logical to me, and I'm a little surprised that Caitlyn didn't understand her point and immediately agree not to bring up Kris' name again. I feel Caitlyn got very defensive — and her face seemed to change the second Khloé suggested she wasn't being compassionate — but maybe with a little more thought and reflection, she'll be able to come around and understand her step-daughter's concern.
For the most part, Kris has respectfully declined to comment about Caitlyn's transition, but that hasn't stopped some people from slamming her for not being more supportive. It's as if some folks forget that she, too, is affected by this. She was married to Caitlyn for 15 years — I can't even imagine how I would feel if my husband and I divorced and then I discovered he didn't feel like he was living life as his authentic self that entire time we were together. It would break my heart.
Kris deserves as much compassion as Caitlyn and I'm glad Khloé is strong enough to bring this tough topic to her dad's attention.
