Rita Ora's 'Fifty Shades Darker' Announcement Leaves Fans More Confused Than Ever

Is nothing set in stone yet when it comes to the sequel everyone is waiting to see? The only explanation for this is that she's still sworn to secrecy: Rita Ora says she'd be happy to star in Fifty Shades Darker— if they ask her back. Wait. They haven't even asked her yet?

Despite having just a few lines of dialogue in Fifty Shades of Grey, the singer must have had a positive experience filming the movie because she said she'd love to reprise the role of Mia Grey, Christian's adopted sister. Assuming screenwriters stick to the original text (and I don't think EL James will have it any other way), Ora will have a much bigger role to play in the sequel. That is, if they cast her — I guess?

Here's what the X Factor judge said in an interview with Lorraine: "I'm a massive fan of the books and my character, Mia Grey, she very much evolves in [books] two and three slowly but surely. So if they do ask me [to be in the film], of course I'll be there."

Someone needs to speak with the powers that update Imdb because the page lists six confirmed actors who we assume are set to appear in Fifty Shades Darker— Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Eloise Mumford (Kate), Luke Grimes (Eliot Grey), Victor Rasuk (José Rodriguez), and, yes, Ora as our Mia Grey.

Perhaps she isn't allowed to talk about the next movie yet? A little mystery is lovely, but the lack of information about this sequel is becoming frustrating. With just a few months left to go until shooting is set to resume, we need answers. Give fans the info they crave, James. It's time.
