While Fifty Shades of Grey fans clamor for as much information as they can get about the film's mysterious sequel, a new rumor has emerged that is going to upset a lot of people. Fifty Shades Darker may be postponed because Jamie Dornan's wife is reportedly upset that he is getting too close to Dakota Johnson.
The film was supposed to start shooting in the new year so that it would be ready for a February 2017 release. But new reports say Dornan felt compelled to stop filming because his wife, Amelia Warner, was upset and disturbed by scenes from the new movie that require her husband become extremely close to Johnson's character, Anastasia Steele.
I guess all of those rumors about the sequel being even racier than the first film are true? Assuming this far-fetched rumor is true?

This isn't the first time we've gotten wind of Warner's reported jealousy, and it can't help her to have to read in every newspaper and magazine about her husband's obvious chemistry with the young actress and about how, if he weren't married, they'd be the perfect couple. As if anyone really knows how Dornan and Johnson relate to each other in real life.
I'm calling BS on this one. Dornan, who shares a 1-year-old daughter named Dulcie with Amelia, takes every opportunity possible to praise his wife during interviews. Most recently, he told the Belfast Telegraph he has been smitten with Amelia since the day they met. If ever there was a man desperately trying to tell the girls (and the media) that he is spoken for, Dornan is it.
As for Amelia — the narrative that a woman is jealous of her husband and looking to sabotage his career because she can't stand his younger costar is too sexy not to write about. But I don't think it's true in this case. Dornan has gone on the record to say his wife is extremely supportive of his success and read the scripts with him in advance. She's also a professional who understands love scenes are technical and not at all sexy.
If anything is stalling the movie, I'd sooner point fingers at the fact that we still don't know who is directing the sequel. I'd say that's a more plausible culprit than a beautiful, accomplished woman who is happily married and knows the difference between fiction and reality.
