After Kaitlyn Bristowe chose Shawn Booth on the season finale of The Bachelorette, the couple visited Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the 30-year-old dancer proceeded to show off her engagement ring and vow that she and Booth were the real deal and are going to stand the test of time. They're so sure they bet money on their relationship.
Kimmel said what we've all been thinking when he told Bristowe and Booth he can't handle another Bachelor/Bachelorette breakup and that they need to pledge that they will get married and stay together forever.
The TV host instructed them to place their hands on a stack of Us Weekly magazines and repeat the following oath: "We, Kaitlyn and Shawn B., do solemnly swear, that we are in love, that we will get married, or we will at least be together one year from today, because if we're not, this was a huge waste of everyone's time. If we are not still in a committed relationship on July 27, 2016, we will pay Jimmy Kimmel $1,000 which he may collect in a lump sum or over the next 30 years in monthly installments of $2.77! Amen."

Kimmel then revealed that he, Bristowe, and Guillermo had already taken a trip to a bridal shop, where the newly engaged Bachelorette tried on wedding gowns -- and looked stunning in the last lace creation -- before Kimmel and Guillermo got in on the action by selecting blinged-out bridesmaids dresses.

Hilarious. I'm sure most of us are rooting for the couple, but you can't ignore the many rumors out there that Booth and Bristowe have already called it quits, possibly because he couldn't handle watching her with all of the other contestants (especially Nick Viall) when the season aired.

And, while Instagram certainly wouldn't hold up in a court of law, it's awfully strange that Bristowe didn't immediately post a lovey photo of herself with Booth as soon as the season ended. Fine, I'll give them a little more time, but I'm not entirely convinced theirs is a joyful ending -- yet.
