Aside from the challenges she faces living her life as a transgender woman, having to deal with the mammoth task of educating those around her about the transgender community, and serving as a public spokesperson for LGBT rights, Caitlyn Jenner is also expected to (literally) nail women's cosmetics and fashion. Jenner attempted to fix a botched manicure in a hilarious video she recently posted to Instagram and every woman will feel her pain.

For the most part (like 99.9 percent of the time) Caitlyn has been flawless at every public event she has attended since transitioning to a woman. It's only been a few months, but she has already racked up more memorable style moments than some other female celebs have throughout their careers. She was the picture of sophistication and elegance in a long, black gown in her first promo photo for docu-series I Am Cait. And she recently killed it in NYC by wearing amazing back-to-back fashions, which included a leopard print wrap dress and a low-cut navy lace cocktail dress that she wore to take in a Broadway play with maybe new girlfriend Candis Cayne.

But, as all women know, you can't be on 100 percent of the time. And your perfect manicure is going to eventually chip — as Jenner found out the hard way when she tried and failed at fixing the flub:

Still getting the hang of this. What do you think of the color?

First of all, that color — love it. I assumed, based on Jenner's mostly classic ensembles, she would stick to reds and maybe a nude or French manicure. I think it's great that she's experimenting with trendy summer hues, as well. I'm as shocked as you are that she even owns a bottle of nail polish and doesn't just call in a professional to handle her manis and pedis, but sometimes you have to take these matters into your own hands.

As someone who is supremely lazy with my own nails, it took me years to accept that you can't add more polish to a polish disaster. You have to take the time to remove the botched polish and start over (which is time-consumming and annoying). I feel Caitlyn's pain and want to hold her hand as she discovers other terrible female beauty truths: like that you have to clean your makeup brushes every other week.

Can you relate with Caitlyn and her lack of nail polish skills?
