Whitney Bischoff Speaks Out After She and 'The Bachelor's' Chris Soules Split Up

Don't shed a tear for Whitney Bischoff— the Bachelor Season 19 winner is moving upward and onward after her split with former fiancé Chris Soules, which came as a shock to many fans this week. She broke her silence with an adorable Instagram photo that proves she will be just fine.

Fans of the couple swooned when Soules proposed to Bischoff in a barn during the show's finale. We assumed the fertility nurse was the one for him because she seemed to connect with Soules and was gung ho on moving to Iowa and starting a family with Soules. But then things began to seem like they were unraveling. We learned Soules and Bischoff were actually moving to Los Angeles while Soules filmed Dancing With the Stars and that she may not have been all that excited to move to a farm.

Perhaps they discovered they weren't really on the same page with their life goals? Which is fine — I mean, better they figure it out now then later when they're married with children.

Amidst all of the rumors, Bischoff took a little time out to post this sweet photo on her Instagram of a child ballerina — a family friend, maybe? — along with a lovely message for her fans:

Shortly before Bischoff and Soules announced they were calling off their engagement, Bachelor producer Mike Fleiss took to Twitter to break the sad news:

And then came the official announcement:

Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement. They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey.

So, what happened? No one is quite sure yet, but I wish both of these lovely people the best. I think they're both great — just not, I suppose, great for each other.
