When we found out Liv Tyler gave birth a few days ago to another little boy, we couldn't imagine the soft-spoken actress giving him a name that wasn't as sweet as the one she gave her 10-year-old son Milo. Tyler and her boyfriend, sports agent Dave Gardner, welcomed their baby six weeks early and have yet to post a photo of the angel, but Liv announced his nautical name with a sweet Instagram photo.
Little Milo has a new brother whose name was inspired by the ocean. Ready for it? Liv and Dave have named their son Sailor Gene Gardner and here's the super-cute photo she posted of him holding a necklace fit for a future sea captain:

How great is this? Sailor isn't a common name and doesn't even rank in the United States, which pretty much guarantees he'll be the only child in his class with this moniker. One thing I love about the name is that it can be given to a boy or girl—Christie Brinkley's daughter is named Sailor, as a matter of fact.
We're not sure what inspired the name. Perhaps pal Kate Moss introduced them on the beach? Maybe they just love the name and feel like it fits in well with Milo and Grey, Gardner's son from a previous marriage—both similarly soft and sweet names?

Sailor was born six weeks early and rumor has it he will have to remain in the hospital for a little bit before Liv and Dave can bring him home. Looking forward to seeing a photo of the adorable mariner.
