Clik here to view. When we recently discovered Teresa Giudice told her daughters, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4, that she was "going away" to do research on a book she's writing about prison and not going to actual prison to serve time for a crime -- as she is set to do in just one day -- we thought: hmm, that's interesting. Wonder how long she'll get away with that one. The Real Housewives star DID break the news to her 13-year-old daughter Gia and 10-year-old Gabriella, and it should surprise no one that the fact that their lives are about to change in a major way is causing Gia a lot of stress -- and she took to Twitter to express herself.
Teresa will be serving a 15-month prison after she and her husband were convicted for fraud this past October. She has been trying to get in as much time with her family as possible before she goes away. She spent New Year's Eve with them, and popped up for a public appearance at Gia's 3KT holiday show the day after Christmas.
But as the date of her sentence looms ever closer, the whole thing is clearly taking a toll on her children. Gia recently tweeted the following message:

Tons of sweet followers showed their support for the teen by reminding her to stay strong, that time will pass before she knows it, and that she should trust that God has a plan.

No doubt, this is going to be incredibly difficult on all of Teresa's children, but as the one who now probably feels an obligation to watch over her younger siblings, this will likely affect Gia most. We can say what we will about Teresa, but one thing that few people deny is that she is a good, loving mom.
Gia knows this and, in addition to considering her a role model, also thinks of her mom as a friend -- which is obvious looking at this photo the young woman posted on Twitter:

The silver lining here is that Gia and her sisters will be well taken care of in Teresa's absence. Their dad will be by their side throughout the ordeal and they also seem to have the love and support of a lot of relatives and friends. Lord knows it won't be easy.
Is there anything Teresa can do to help her teen daughter get through this?
