The first-ever American Country Countdown Awards certainly did not disappoint -- especially when it came to outrageous, fashion-forward, and just plain pretty gowns. Some of our favorite female songbirds totally hit it out of the park -- Carrie Underwood, I tip my hat to you -- while others, well, let's just say it pains us to have to critique their wardrobe so harshly when, obviously, their talent trumps such trivial matters.
