Clik here to view.Hayden Panettiere and her fiance Wladimir Klitschko are officially parents! The 25-year-old Nashville star and her boxer partner welcomed a baby girl on Dec. 9, her reps have confirmed. Their cutie pie was born weighing 7 lbs., 14 oz. and measured 20 inches. And now for her amazing, sweet, melodic name -- it's one that is exotic, yet prevalent in every corner of the globe AND has about a gazillion different meanings.
Hayden and Wladimir named their princess Kaya Klitschko. I love the pretty and feminine sound of Kaya and, if I would have had to guess, I would have said it originated in Hawaii. But I'm wrong -- the origin of "Kaya" is Native American, Hopi and means "my elder little sister," which implies that the little girl is wise beyond her years. Awww.
But the meaning of Kaya doesn't start and end there. In Turkey, it means "rock." In Indonesian, it means "wealthy." In some languages of India, it means "skin," and (don't read this, Hayden) in Jamaican slang it's actually another word for marijuana.

Hayden has been super excited about meeting her baby girl -- she actually revealed her baby's gender at the Emmy Awards in August -- and we're sure she's going to make one amazing mommy. We're thrilled for her -- but a little sad for ourselves because this means we no longer get to see her proudly strut her pregnant self in bikinis and whatever else she damn well felt like wearing. She was, hands down, one of the most fearless pregnant celebs of all time.
Do you like the name Kaya?
